Hello, I am Sathija K S
I, Sathija K.S, an ardent art teacher at Pencil n Brushes Art School, became a professional in the field of teaching and arts with a handful of knowledge and experience. My love for art and my skill in teaching made me an art teacher at Pencil n Brushes, and I have been enjoying being a teacher for about five years in the school. Years of academic qualifications in different courses, including a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a Master's degree in Psychology, and a Diploma in Polytechnic, paved the way for my future in teaching.
I started my journey in teaching drawing and painting right after I found myself to be confident in my skills. I attended a Nursery Teacher Training course and have participated in various art workshops inside and outside Kerala. Anyone with excitement and love for drawing and painting can become a creative artist with or without innate talents if they are encouraged and practiced by another lover of art and painting. My style of teaching art starts right with motivation and strict observation of each student. I value each of them as individual artists and respect them.
Through academic learning, I have also attained skills and knowledge in mural painting, thereby acquiring the confidence to become an art teacher. By fostering relationships with my students, I am able to incorporate their interests into my lesson plans. As a teacher, I strive to inspire students to reflect on their life experiences with the techniques and information they learn in my class. As an artist, nothing fulfills me more than sharing my passion with the next generation of artists. I consider my student's diverse learning styles as I prepare lesson plans.
Besides my classroom management skills and teaching experience, my enthusiasm makes me a great art teacher. It is my priority to promote critical thinking and creativity in my class assignments, and I take pride in tailoring everything to the particular needs of each classroom. I am continuing my journey in search of new artists and dreaming of becoming a fantastic teacher.
